Translucent Stitched Design: 'Be Creative with Workbox' Issue Jul/Aug 2016
Fragile, translucent qualities of nature
can inspire us in terms of stitch. In this
free-machine embroidery project, water
soluble plastic film makes the perfect
medium for creating a fine, translucent
stitched design reminiscent of the veins
on a skeleton leaf. You then have the
option to turn your stitched piece into
a window hanger to let soft light filter through to highlight all your beautiful stitching!
Project designed by Anne Glynis Davies
